It’s only now I’m able to look back and appreciate how good of a place I’m in now after having the worst last 2 months mental health wise I’ve had in years, I can truthfully say now I feel a million times better and not just pretending I’m “fine” , let’s hope it stays this wayhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤞🏻" title="Crossed fingers (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Crossed fingers (heller Hautton)">
I blocked out and ignored so many important things and felt like I couldn’t reach out to anyone even though I know it’s all in my head and I have the most amazing friends, family and boyfriend, happy to be moving on and spending time with the people who mean the most to mehttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😌" title="Erleichtertes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Erleichtertes Gesicht">
I really think trying to adjust back to “normal” life after lockdown is so so hard for anyone let alone someone struggling with mental health & it’s just ongoing trying to figure this all out but I’m definitely in a much better place & when I’m smiling I’m actually being sincere
I’ve probably had some of the worst anxiety I’ve ever had in my life and it hindered my social life and my work life, so many times I have typed out messages to a friend to ask for help or advice only to delete it and not press send because I think it’s not important enough...
But you’re mental health is just as important as anything and I hate to think it but if maybe I pressed send one of them times I wouldn’t have felt so bad and would have been where I am right now a lot sooner
I guess what I’m trying to get at with this thread of tweets is that please if you need to reach out to someone do, don’t be afraid to press send because it might just be the weight off your shoulders that you needhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😌" title="Erleichtertes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Erleichtertes Gesicht">
