Is Wirral part of Liverpool City Region?
Yes. Liverpool City Region was formed in 2017 and is led by Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram. This includes Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral. These updated restrictions will take place in Wirral too.

No. From Saturday 3 October it will be illegal to mix households in any indoor setting – this includes pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

Childcare bubbles can continue but there are some nationally-set rules around them. Only one household can provide informal childcare to a child aged 13 or under in another household. This has always got to be the same two households.
