Hi authors! My students wrote letters to authors whose titles have been banned or challenged. I will not include their full names, nor any identifying information. They would love a response from you, even if it& #39;s a word or two.
P.S. If anyone has an connection at Scholastic where I could send some emails, I& #39;d prefer not to print out letters and mail them to Dav Pilkey, but I will if I have to!
The next letter is to JK Rowling. We have talked about Rowling& #39;s anti-trans rhetoric in class, but we& #39;ve also talked about how feelings surrounding a book can be complicated.

By the way, all these letters were written by fourth graders. If you have any connections to these authors, students would love a response, though I did prepare them for the event that no one will hear back from anyone.
