Ok serious bandcamp friday post
If you’re a footwork/juke fan or please take some time to support some of its creators this Friday
DJ Clent, DJ Manny, Sirr TMO, DJ Phil, and plenty of other producers helped create the movement but haven’t received nearly enough monetary support

I& #39;ll make a thread of albums by underrepresented footwork legends that are available on Bandcamp soon
Here is the thread.
Gonna start off with Heavee, an LGBT producer from Chicago. You may have heard him while listening to the radio in Grand Theft Auto V. Many of his recent releases are quite melodic and focused. His BC includes a subscription option. https://heavee.bandcamp.com/album/stay-ready-ep">https://heavee.bandcamp.com/album/sta...

If you& #39;re a fan of footwork at all you should surely know DJ Clent, the creator of BEATDOWNHOUSE and many legendary tracks. His BC is full of rare gems; this release starts with an amazing flip of Last Winter, also famously flipped by Spinn/Rashad. https://djclent39.bandcamp.com/album/lake-parc-place">https://djclent39.bandcamp.com/album/lak...
EQ Why is the head of Equalized and makes some really incredible music. A lot of it is quite jazzy with adept sampling. I bought this release when it came out in 2016 and am happy to see he& #39;s released dozens of albums since then. Discography available too https://eqwhy.bandcamp.com/album/whythoven-volume-1-away-from-death">https://eqwhy.bandcamp.com/album/why...
Sirr TMO is an amazing DJ and footworker, and one of the original members of Teklife and has always had a very consistent and unique sounding discography. I am a huge fan of his remixes and he has a lot of original music up on Bandcamp as well. https://sirrtmo.bandcamp.com/album/2019-footwork-remixes">https://sirrtmo.bandcamp.com/album/201...
DJ Manny needs no introduction! One of the best DJ& #39;s and producers in the world hands down. This album showcases his varied talents with vocals, melodies, and samples that cover a wide emotional range with style. Check out his house EP 1990 as well. https://djmanny1.bandcamp.com/album/8th-in-a-wood">https://djmanny1.bandcamp.com/album/8th...
DJ Tre is another original Teklife member and he recently released a perfect EP on Hyperdub. Any fan of House music and minimal, sparse, melodic tracks will absolutely love this one. https://djtre.bandcamp.com/album/the-underdogg-ep">https://djtre.bandcamp.com/album/the...
DJ Jalen is the leader of Take Ova Gang and is putting in lots of work into keeping Chicago footwork alive and pushing the art form further. This release has this fucking incredible song that talks about needing an Adderall prescription. https://togfootworkstation.bandcamp.com/album/take-ova-time">https://togfootworkstation.bandcamp.com/album/tak...
DJ Corey is one of the youngest Footwork producers I& #39;ve heard of and happens to be DJ Clent& #39;s son. This album deserves way more buys! https://djcoreybdh.bandcamp.com/album/dem-workz-vol-1">https://djcoreybdh.bandcamp.com/album/dem...
Jana Rush is a legendary prodcuer who released "The Youngest Female DJ" with DJ Deeon back in 1996. Twenty years later her debut LP "Pariah" came out and needless to say it& #39;s incredible. A seriously underappreciated innovator. https://jaru.bandcamp.com/album/pariah ">https://jaru.bandcamp.com/album/par...
Please feel free to link other releases in the replies and I& #39;ll add them to the thread!
