the opening line for this includes the line "ancestors" which is hilarious for some reason and does not portend well.
This opening action sequence with her chasing a chicken was kind of shot with a lot of fun and action until she...uh, glided off a roof like it was a "early 2000s action film."
uh, why is qi only for men and not like...life force?
(I know there is a really good thread on the actual historical failings of the Mulan movie, I am waiting to read it/see the video until after I see the movie)
so...qi isn& #39;t for women unless you& #39;re a witch? and qi can& #39;t be used in destructive ways but it can only be used by warriors?
it seems so far that the people with the strongest accents are the bad guys.
the primary villain seems to be this witch, who just...uh, wants a society where she can be treated equitably.
