There are lots of reasons why people of color and women are underrepresented in the elite corridors of law. One of them is having to listen to a bunch of Noah Feldmans tell you how "nice" and "lovely" people are who want to rip away your rights and equality.

Seriously, imagine listening to this shit all day, every day, forever.

"So and So," who just happens to think that your sexual orientation is a deviant sin that the United States government is allowed to discriminate against "is brilliant!"

"Did you take so and so& #39;s class? Sure, I know she thinks that *strictly legally* you and your mother should be treated as second class citizens because you came from a different country and were food insecure while growing up. But man, WHAT A MIND!"

"You should apply for a clerkship. Not with her, who hates the color of your skin, or him who thinks that the state should be able to rent out your womb for nine months. No, DEFINIETLY not her, she doesn& #39;t like Muslims. But, maybe you could clerk for one of their friends."

These (usually white, usually men) people have their heads so far up their asses that I honestly don& #39;t think half of them understand how throwing their lots in with people who literally threaten our lives, safety, and freedom looks to the us.
