Funny story. An old classmate I& #39;ve not spoken to in years emailed "just tried to access your twitter but you have blocked me! Why? What did I ever say to you?"
And I was genuinely puzzled cos I didn& #39;t remember blocking him. I barely remember his face! So I looked into it. /1

It was a nameless anon type account (not that there& #39;s anything wrong with that) that I realized I had blocked as part of my ongoing multi-year "Must instantly block any bigots I see bigotedly trolling @Shehla_Rashid" policy. So I told him. This is why. You& #39;re a bigot.
Dude got so upset at my unwillingness to extend legitimacy and even politeness to his bigotry.

History teaches us that Nazis succeeded as much as they did because most of the world felt it was really impolite and nasty to call Nazis bad people by definition. Eventually we needed to spend millions of lives to repair that. Let& #39;s learn from history. Call out Nazis.
