V6& #39;s formation story was... rather unique. They debuted with a huge age gap in between, and bc of that they were grouped into two sub-units:

20th Century/Tonisen-
Sakamoto (24), Nagano (23), Inohara (19),

Coming Century/Kamisen-
Morita (16), Miyake (16), Okada (14, turning 15)
There& #39;s an 8 to 9-year gap between their eldest member/leader Sakamoto and the Kamisen members. Just imagine what the start of their careers as V6 were like. They got thru all that mayhem,

And now in their 25th, leader Sakamoto is 49, while Okada, their youngest, is turning 40.
V6 is a group that just Keeps On Going. They never had a reason to separate bc they already gave each other space to grow, as an idol and as a person (private life). Each has taken their own "path", but that never stopped them from Walking side by side for many years,
hands together as One. Their Generation Gap in the beginning turned out to be favorable for them, as it helped shape the dynamics and the brotherhood they hold today. Of course, life circumstances play a huge part in all this; they& #39;re blessed with the people around them +
and the relationships they& #39;ve made over the years. They simply choose to focus on what& #39;s in front of them, one thing at a time. V6 have had their share of conflicts and hardships too, but they& #39;re like a family who& #39;s always gonna want to work things out for the better.
But it& #39;s not only their sense of stability and mature charm that should be noted.
THEY ARE HONESTLY FREAKIN TALENTED. They are excellent in what they do. But they tend to be overlooked, i have a theory why:

They were caught up in a transition.

They have a reasonable amount of fans, but there& #39;s always this feeling that they& #39;re never talked about that much.
When the internet age arrived, so did the younger generation of Johnny& #39;s. V6 were already around their 10th anniversary during that time, and new Johnny& #39;s fans probably saw V6 as a daisenpai already.

And by that time, V6 were already entering a new period in their lives.
Group activities and music releases were slowing down a bit. They still gained fans from variety shows/dramas/solo activities, yet their music was way underrated. Disbandment rumors arose. But did that stop them? Obviously, no.
They honed their individual skill sets and came back strong as V6 every time. Even with their scarce music releases, they kept at it and delivered something new with every album and tour.
It was not until the recent years when Johnny& #39;s started to become visible in socmed that V6 started to get talked about a lot again (online), mainly since they& #39;re entering their 25th year intact as a group.
All that just in time for another transition in V6& #39;s style and performances that have clearly sparked much interest in the group& #39;s longevity, and hopefully in their history as well.
As I type this i& #39;m trying to recall what exactly made me stick around as a fan after watching ONE performance. And it was bc i found out that the song performed (Honey Beat) was actually the THIRD song i heard from them.

Third time& #39;s a charm.
The first two were "Change the World" and "Feel Your Breeze", but i never knew those were by the same artist until i looked them up.

As I listened to more of their songs and got to watch them more, i remember i started to think that V6 is "a group I can look up to."
13 years later, I still see them as my "Big brothers". Their stories and their bond, and of course their songs have been a constant encouragement to me over the years, and I can& #39;t say it enough.
It& #39;s been 25 years, they& #39;re still here sharing their smiles with us, stronger from all those life experiences, and just crazily in sync more than ever!
