So I saw @Solar_Sas tweet about the R slur and digged into his tumblr too.. This comes from only the purest intentions and if Solar Sands would rather not change his vocabulary then I& #39;ll just unfollow, simple. If he wants me to delete this thread I will.

3. I have multiple friends on the spectrum and they have made it clear that they still get called Ret@rd in current day. Not even a year ago a kid with severe autism got in trouble in his special ed class and was forced to sit outside.
4. With my own eyes and ears I heard two teenage boys yell at this kid "look, it& #39;s the cr!ppled ret@rd!". THIS SLUR IS STILL USED TODAY AND STILL EFFECTS CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE.
