Grabe....Friday (18 September 2020) pa noong natapos ang #ElijahSummit2020 and yet all of the lessons and insights na natutunan ko ay talaga namang life-changing at never kong malilimutan. Let me share with y& #39;all some of the things that I have learned...https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙂" title="Leicht lĂ€chelndes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Leicht lĂ€chelndes Gesicht">
1. The job of a pastor is to seek and save the lost, and to lead them to God.
Ang pangunahing trabaho ng isang pastor ay pangunahan ang kanyang mga miyembro patungo sa Diyos; he does it primarily by preaching the Gospel to them, everytime he stands in front of the pulpit before--
--his congregation every Sunday. He may be called to do other church-related tasks as necessary, yet preaching should be considered as his first and foremost responsibility. Malinaw ang patakaran ng Bible diyan (Acts 20:27, 2 Timothy 2:15, 4:2).
2. The call to ministry is a call to self-denial, a call to not look back, and a call to a worry-free life.
Spiritual ministry is a very unique kind of profession in which all who serve became ministers because of the Lord& #39;s calling. People may think that the life we will lead--
--is easy, just a walk in the park. But in calling yourself a minister of the Lord, you will have to sacrifice things (material possessions, social influence, and even your very life) as you preach His Word. You will be forced to continue with your work and not look back on--
--your former life. And yet, in exchange for the hardships, trials, and troubles that you will suffer for God, He promises you a worry-free life as you continue to serve Him. He will provide your every need, basta& #39;t manatili ka lang tapat at humble sa paglilingkod sa Kanya. :)
3. Envision yourself in the ministry beyond your present weaknesses and limitations.
The last yet (probably, personally) the most challenging lesson that I learned, but is vital for you to appreciate God& #39;s power and work to lead people back to Him through your service, yet--
--with all honesty, palagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko that I will be faithful sa, pero never ko na-visualize at nakita sarili ko IN the ministry....baka siguro dahil sa worldly perspective ng PasMin, and partly dahil sa physical weakness at mga limitations ko. This important--
--lesson taught me that being a minister of God is everything about GOD and nothing, never will be about me. Envisioning yourself doing His work, according to His Word as well as the vision He had for you and the people around you; these will empower you to continue serving--
--by trusting in God, Who, the Bible says, "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us."
(Ephesians 3:19)
End of thread.
Patuloy lang tayo sa ating pananampalataya at sa ating paglilingkod sa Panginoon,
