A friend of mine was fired from her adjunct position because she made a spelling mistake during class. Students complained. She taught for many years at the freaking Sorbonne. But, she& #39;s not French or white...

Note that it is illegal, especially because the university didn& #39;t even make her sign a contract in the first place (very common in French universities).

She was fired from another university (but before that she taught several years at the Sorbonne - just in case people would argue she deserved it).
