I know there& #39;s a @TheGrapevineTV episode on being Black in corporate America, but I would love to see GV or someone else do a panel on being Black in professional school or being a Black junior professional because chile.....

Before we talk about increasing Black representation in certain fields & institutions, we need to make sure Black candidates are protected once they get there. That is a whole other demon. The silence & fear of speaking out against anti-blackness b/c of the power dynamics. Whew.

I& #39;ve seen & heard way too many stories of Black students threatened with whispers of "unprofessionalism" (a career-ruining bell that can never be unrung) for no reason at all except pure antiblackness (and I& #39;m using the term anti-blackness, not racism b/c NBPoC do this too).
