To me, when women attendings tag a male attending and list them as “He For She”, they are basically endorsing them as “safe”.

Some (a very small few) of them are NOT safe.

It is up to all of us to use that hashtag responsibly.

If you are a man that uses the hashtag #HeForShe https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt="">, you better be supportive OFFLINE, I.e. at work, as well. That’s literally the whole point.

DO NOT BE A PSEUDO ALLY.

Multiple women have messaged me saying 3 people - including Yukon Mike - who used hashtag #HeForShe https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> sent them dick pictures.

This is extremely concerning because, with Yukon Mike, we allowed someone who is not a healthcare worker to infiltrate and harm.

Going forward, I will only be using the #HeForShe https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> for individuals who meet one of following criteria:
1) I met in real life

2) I have known to be ally for months through DM’s or otherwise

3) I have seen perform allyship work OFF OF TWITTER.

This is a low bar.
