THIS is ambiguous. the Jones sisters are half black, Auli’i is Hawaiian, the Rock is black and Samoan, and Daniel Sunjata is black and white.
apparently some of these people are 3/4 white. still. the concept remains.

lastly, these are just some half black and half Indian actors. they’re not ambiguous, they just look mixed, and there’s a difference.
i made this thread because people are confused about the distinctions between these three categories. they’re similar, but the distinctions are important. ambiguous means you could be anything. passing means you look white. “looking mixed” usually means you look partially ethnic.
