i never thought i would make a post like this bc usually you read or see it but my BLACK TRANS SISTER was shot multiple times, too many to count, yesterday BY POLICE. for hours the hospital wouldn’t tell us if she was dead or alive bc the police have been quiet

we finally know that she’s in critical condition, two collapsed lungs, bilateral chest tubes, etc. and we can’t see her so she’s trying to hold out on her own right now, it’s hard. she’s mentally ill and suffers from bipolar disorder and was just diagnosed with schizophrenia
she has been turned away and sent home MULTIPLE TIMES after we tried getting her professional help. this world doesn’t care about black trans lives i promise you. this was a mental heath case, the police needed to help her but they shot her to kill. no one has talked to us
but there’s been articles in the paper and need on TV painting my sister ROXANNE BTW as a threat to the community. idk what i’m asking for but pls pls pls do what you can. share and make sure ppl know that this world failed her and she’s not the threat they want her to be
i will link the articles and numbers that can be called. there still hasn’t been a video released and this happened at 7:15am YESTERDAY. black trans lives need to be protected and fought for. the bond with siblings is unbreakable i need her

idk who to talk to but they shot her at least 5 times but are only saying she was shot once and was a threat?????? i still don’t know where or what conference is being held

my family has gone through a lot, we just lost our uncle just a year ago and the trauma some of us have is already enough and now we have to go through this. we are constantly living through hell and it’s exhausting, roxanne you have to pull through i need you
