1. don& #39;t! do you think being "respectful" is putting your precious anime boys through an event you most likely didn& #39;t experience? do you think you can speak for actual victims? can you be respectful writing this depiction without any idea what ACTUAL people have been through??
2. there are some events you shouldn& #39;t touch. y& #39;all hetalians are too fucking comfortable writing about nazi germany. displaying colonialism and imperialism in a positive light, making it seem cute even.
3. how would it feel to go through such pain and then you go onto the internet, maybe as an ESCAPE, and you see someone making light of your trauma?
4. have some fucking empathy. historical hetalia is fun, but i swear some of y& #39;all are treading places you shouldn& #39;t go. if people were oppressed, DO NOT call that fic material and throw your anime characters into their situation. you don& #39;t know what it& #39;s like. you& #39;ll never.
