Enthusiasm:

When you start a task, your enthusiasm is at a high. As time passes, it can fade out resulting in you quitting.

Keep your enthusiasm flowing:

- Listen to music
- Read books and blog posts
- Speak with positive enthusiastic friends
- Listen to inspiring podcasts
Concern:

Do not concern yourself with other people& #39;s opinions.

People have their own lives to worry about and are probably not focusing on you, it is self-centered to think differently.

Although disappointing to realize, set yourself free from the self-imposed bonds.
How, not if:

Concentrate on how to, rather than what if.

Focusing on the what if, can leave you in a state of analysis paralysis.

Start asking yourself what you can do rather than trying to think of all that could go wrong.

Ask yourself what lessons could be learnt.
Balance workload with rest:

Personally, I work intensely for an hour and break for 15 minutes. This helps me to:

- Up concentration
- Up focus
- Up quantity
- Up quality

You will be able to enjoy your rest time and enjoy your work time resulting in you being more productive.
Accountability:

This is where your new network on Twitter can come into play.

Get an accountability buddy, or better yet an accountability group.

Having a like-minded buddy or group to hold you accountable for your work output will help you stay consistent.
Reminders:

Notepads are extremely useful when it comes to reminding.

Try writing:

- A quote that motivates you
- Your new habits
- Your most important goal/s
- Your current top three priorities in life

Having a constant reminder within eye-shot should be a big motivator.
Self-respect:

By not doing what you intended, it only hurts one person, yourself.

What kind of person are you?

because there is no escaping yourself.

Do what you think is right, if you do not, you are only hurting yourself and your self-esteem.
Start small:

If you do not feel like doing something, start small.

We all have days when motivation is at a low.

Start very small to build momentum:

- Lift for a few reps
- Run for ten minutes
- Write for ten minutes

Once you involve yourself, you& #39;ll be likely to continue.
Take responsibility:

Your responsibility is to do what you think is right.

You cannot control:

- The results of your actions
- Other people& #39;s reaction to your actions

Taking action weighs lighter when you only have to take responsibility for doing what you think is right.
Prioritize tasks:

Take care of the biggest tasks first:

- Most important
- Trickiest

The rest of your day should become a lot easier once they are done.

This is because the heavier tasks will not weigh on your thoughts and you will gain momentum as you will feel achievement.
Make it fun:

Some tasks are simply boring.

Create an energetic, positive mood within your environment.

Listen to:

- Audio books
- Music
- Podcasts

Try matching with the subject that you are working on; this will help you keep enthusiasm and may inspire new ideas.
Celebrate:

Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.

This will help you:

- Feel good
- Keep motivated
- Increase your self-esteem

Motivation generates energy and energy will keep you going.
Incorporate some of the above into your day to help you act and keep momentum.

If you have made it this far, thank you for reading.
