Hey babes, since I just reached 2K, I’d like to help out some beginners. I’m going to post a collection of advice Ive been keeping in a thread, first. There’s a lot to learn but the community is strong, just be kind and reciprocate. Here we go.
Twitter is the biggest place for self promotion. Start there. Follow me, and everyone I repost. Get on some follow trains, and find an engagement group. Its HARD WORK. You’re going to need to be at this all day every day for a long while. 12 hrs+
Daily posts on all platforms, and fresh content on all your sites. You can use a media scheduler like hootesuite or SmarterQueue if that’s easier. Few are free, so be choosey before you invest. Many offer a trial period, so test them out first.
Use the same handle on TW, IG, Reddit and FB, and post daily at least once in each place. Make friends and have conversations. Consider your ‘persona’. Don’t ever use hashtags or you’ll get a shadow ban. Shadow bans don’t last forever but they’re annoying.
You can put those same words without a hashtag on the bottom of your post and it’s still easily indexed. Remember slow and steady retains best in business.
Get into a RT group on twitter & an upvote group on Reddit. Find lots of subreddits, the ones for OF will be the least helpful. Reddit is NOT very SW friendly, & full of misogyny/incels. I avoid posting on weekends & evenings when trolls have free time. Be ready to get some shit.
if you use SW hashtags people will put in your name and you still won’t come up. That’s what a shadow ban is. And you won’t come up in anyone’s feed. So they work for regular marketing but not for us.
not for all content types, but you could easily plug into some FB groups to boost your following. Its an older, less tech saavy demographic that needs more hand holding, but has cash. I don’t use fetlife for marketing but some folks do. I also hear good things about Tinder Gold.
Set up cashap and maybe Venmo. Get an allmylinks or a linktree page to keep all your contact links in one places with one click. FB and IG is screening them now for OnlyFans links, so any kind of free landing page works too.
Try wix, or squaresoft if they do this to you. They also won’t allow OF, MV, or JFF links at all, even in comments, so put them in a graphic with your links you can refer to.
For pricing, lower is better considering that 40mil people are unemployed RN. The key is quality material and lots of subs. Consider upgrading your phone/camera. Invest in a ring light, a tripod, a clicker, a selfie stick, and a suction cup for positioning.
Don’t worry about your looks so much. This market has something for everyone. You don’t need to be straight, cis, white, thin, femme, etc. Some people sign up for your shape, some your personality, some your style, some your speciality acts. Just do/wear what makes you feel good.
Watch makeup tutorials. Learn to contour. You need to look polished. Details matter. Keep your toes painted. Do skin care. Press on nails are crazy cheap on amazon and easy to put on and remove. They improve photo quality a lot. Fake lashes are game changers.
SHEIN has great prices on lingerie for all sizes. You’ll need a mix and match wardrobe. Start making content you’re comfortable with. Because if you don’t feel good and aren’t having fun, it shows. You can branch out as requests come in.
I’m disabled so I’ve been slow to try new things, it’s super hard for me to try new physical stuff. But I take lots of photos in different outfits and setups to make up for it. I do one big content day a week. Go follow SW on TikTok, lots of tips!
Slowly figure out what lingerie and movements are flattering to your body type, and your style. Knowing what works for you is really important.
Some sites to consider working with are: OnlyFans, ManyVids, Justforfans (do not recommend), Admire me, AVN, Frisk, Patreon. You’ll need to consider your content and the rules of each platform before choosing.
