It still feels surreal to have finally found someone who is fluent enough to speak my love language (words of affirmation). I& #39;ve been through a number of relationships before and the last one was probably the worst cause it made me feel like I was difficult to love. For 3 months I& #39;ve been doing backflips for my ex to notice me after being left on read &/or ignore for 1-3 days despite being online.

It sucks being treated that way, but I& #39;ve moved on. After a toxic relationship, you start to question everything. That& #39;s when you start to unreasonably expect the worst of someone. And then you think that this person is too good to be true, that this is all just going to be anoth

-er history-repeats-itself moment. But it turns out, this person has been the same person from the start. And I guess this is what it fees like to be treated right.

Truth is, I was never hard to love. I perpetuated myself in a toxic relationship thinking that it could change my ex, but in reality, I was incapable of being loved by someone who I thought could give me the love that I needed and deserved.

I& #39;m in a better place right now. While this may only be the beginning, we& #39;re both committed on making this work, because we both make each other happy, and this is the kind of happiness that we both deserve. What I exactly deserve. ISTG, I am the luckiest.

Never forget how you deserve to be treated. To the person reading this, I hope you never have to doubt yourself because of someone& #39;s inability to treat you right.
