A bit of fun, this: lots of deserved attention is being given to gymnasts who compete (or did until recently) as & #39;veterans& #39;. Some are well known and others aren& #39;t, but they have all helped to challenge perceptions. Why don& #39;t we share and celebrate their stories below? I& #39;ll start:

Ambassador for ONU Mujeres, UN programme to develop self-confidence in women. Denver grad.

Retired injured in & #39;13 but returned 11 months after birth of daughter in & #39;16 to win home World Cup gold in Mersin. Been to Worlds 5 times.
