I& #39;ve struggled with dysgraphia my entire life, i suggest you do your research. I& #39;ve been screamed at by teachers, humilted by teachers and my classmates, physically and verbally bullied by my classmates all because my handwriting isn& #39;t as good as everyone else.
I& #39;ve always been super imaginative as well, and because of dysgraphia i cannot project any of it onto paper. My grades suffer because my teachers can& #39;t read my handwriting, I can& #39;t do simple tasks like folding a piece of paper correctly or holding my pencil correctly
i used to go to occupational therapy as well and I& #39;ve shown progress, my handwriting is more legible and my wrists are stronger, but my parents ended up not having the time to take me anymore and i was discharged from it, thus i am no longer showing improvement
how does ratchet play into this? in the beginning of MTMTE it shows the chief medical officer, a world renowned doctor, having his hands rendered useless. now, this is a huge struggle for him as it gets worse in the beginning, but i really resonated with it.
though it was a temporary thing and he got it resolved, during the hand issue it really helped me resonate with him through the fact he couldn& #39;t so such simple tasks he used to be able to do everyday, like how i can& #39;t do tasks everyone else can do.
copinglink really helps me feel better about myself and i made this thread to get my emotions on paper so.
