I go out of my way to support and help as many people as I can on here. I’m always giving tips and sharing what I know b/c I want to see people succeed but I’m not getting that back and it sucks

It’s very disheartening to see the same people that I considered friends talk shit about me and my cosplays behind my back. I’ve seen the SS’s from groupchats about what ppl say and it just sucks b/c I try and help so many people and I show 100% genuine support on here

I’ve been thinking about this for the past 2 days and I decided to take a step back from twitter and the cosplay community. It’s overwhelming and the constant need to tear others down in hopes of achieving success isn’t healthy and I refuse to surround myself with it.

I’d rather have low engagement, inactive followers and no “clout” than surround myself with fake people who wanna create drama and spread lies about the same ppl who have been nothing but nice to them.
