Medical racism, anti-Blackness, ableism and eugenics tied up in one horrific act of brutality. Handcuffing a person who’s recently had a spinal cord injury is a death sentence. Period.

Lack of movement after SCI causes pneumonia, pulmonary embolism (blood clots), or septicemia (blood infection) because of lack of movement and pressure sores. I am sorry for not adding an initial content warning. I acted on impulse, but- it’s important that everyone knows that this is even beyond psychological cruelty and physical torture- if he indeed did just experience an SCI, it’s a second attempted murder in my humble opinion.
