1/ I don& #39;t share @LeslieMarshall& #39;s politics, but she deleted and apologized for an embarrassingly stupid tweet sent from her account by an intern. Why continue savaging her? People make mistakes. She& #39;s humiliated, as we all sometimes are. Just forgive and be done with it.
2/ @LeslieMarshall herself obviously needs to reprimand the intern, but she should forgive that person, too. She should make it a learning experience for that young man or woman. And she herself should learn from it--there& #39;s a lesson in it for her and others who use social media.
3/The lesson for @LeslieMarshall and all of us is to review carefully anything going out in one& #39;s name. We can& #39;t outsource responsibility for our words--from books & articles to blog posts & tweets--to others. If it& #39;s in one& #39;s name and one hasn& #39;t read and approved, it& #39;s a shanda.
