Self-care is realizing you don’t need to watch a toxic, highly publicized event to make fleeting repetitive dunks on Twitter.
Past me: Ooh I need watch this thing that will make me sad and angry so I can land some sick burns and be Twitter cool.
Current me: I would like to feel okay for longer than 18-minute increments in 2020. I’m gonna look at my dog sleeping quietly.
