so today i& #39;ve been extra lonely bc my roommate still isn& #39;t here yet so i& #39;ve been trying to see how i can make friends,, lo and behold i look down and see a weird circle of ppl in the courtyard talking to each other
i think to myself "wow this is the perfect opportunity" and make my way over to the elevator and try and figure out how to get there,,,
i wait seven years for the elevator to show up, awkwardly ask the receptionist how to get there (which is hard bc i feel inadequate, remember?) and finally look down to see,,,
no one. they all left before i could talk to them.
i go down there anyway out of spite to the universe, and just fall on my back and stare into the sky,, telling myself over and over again that it& #39;ll be ok,,, for abt five minutes, then i get up
so i look up behind me and SOMEONE WAS LOOKING AT ME THE ENTIRE TIME FROM THE DORM WINDOW,, THEY START WAVING AT ME AND I WAVE BACK AND THEN THEIR ROOMMATE SHOWS UP SO NOW WERE ALL JUST WAVUBG AT EACHOTHER
IVE NEVER FELT SO CONNECTED TO A STRANGERS SILHOUETTE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE IT MADE MY DAY TEN TIMES BETTER DBKBKDB
