For some people, a basic skincare routine (Cleanser -Moisturizer - Sunscreen) can work just fine.

They usually come in watery to gel like texture & consist of active ingredients.

For example: @zarzoubeautyHQ BHS has watery texture
And
contain ascorbic acid & arbutin to tackle acne scars & hyperpigmentation.

Serum has smaller molecules that able to penetrate deeper layer of skin.
Make it a great tool for targeting skin concerns like wrinkles, dehydration, acne, hyperpigmentation etc.

So, how to choose a serum?

Unlike how we choose cleanser, moisturizer & sunscreen which are based on our skin type, we should choose our serum based on skin concerns.
