gender identity is one of many spectra in the high-dimensional space of gender and gender expression. anyone who tries to narrow that down to a single binary, or even spectrum, is untrustworthy to me and cheating both themselves and other people of the vast diversity of gender.
i identify as a woman and i am attracted largely to women, but what even is a woman? people who identify as women, obviously, but attraction is so much deeper than just that. i am attracted to many traits, some contradictory, which mostly but not exclusively occur in women.
so obviously i have a nuanced and inclusive view of identity. how could you see gender this way and not? and while i call myself a "woman" and a "lesbian," these are not hard laws but approximations based on clusters of traits i am most accurately described by, at least right now
