Unpopular opinion: For those whose grudge is with & #39;nepotism& #39;, instead of saying negative things about & #39;insiders& #39;, pushing trends on them *everyday*, why don& #39;t you say positive things about fabulous & #39;outsiders& #39;, so they get more adulation?

Here& #39;s a #thread that& #39;ll try & do that:
The intent of this thread is to celebrate great talent from the fantastic Indian shows and films in 2020. I haven& #39;t seen everything so I& #39;ll write about the actors I know and admire, and you all can keep adding about the actors you do!

I& #39;ll try and keep this an ongoing thread.
I think Sheeba Chaddha is an absolute legend; she makes every. single. thing. she& #39;s in better by being in it. She was fabulous in #BandishBandits (on @PrimeVideoIN), and brought such dignity to Mohini.

Find her in Mirzapur on Prime, Permanent Roommates on Liv & MANY others!
In #Aarya (on @DisneyplusHSVIP), I really liked the quiet grace of Vikas Kumar ( @StcVK), who played ACP Khan, and I read up on him to find that he& #39;s been in many episodes of CID and he’s also been a dialogue coach on many films!

Find him in Hamid, Parmanu and Ajji on Netflix.
. @rajeshtailang has been the quiet backbone of so many series, & been exceptional in all of them. I loved how he carries the weight of legacy in #BandishBandits ( @PrimeVideoIN), as a man burdened by conditioned masculinity.

Find him on #Mirzapur on Prime
#DelhiCrime on Netflix
. @dasnamit has had a spectacularly diverse career, across film, TV, theater. I& #39;ve loved him in many things but he made me really dislike Jawaahar in #Aarya ( @DisneyPlusHS). He& #39;s also going to be in A Suitable Boy!

Find him in Sumit Sambhaal Lega on Liv and in Sui Dhaga on Prime.
In #GunjanSaxena (on @NetflixIndia), I was thrilled to see Ayesha Raza Mishra ( @RazaMishra), who I& #39;ve had the good fortune to work with on #BangBaajaBaaraat, and she can kill it just as much in a desi avatar as she does in an urban one!

Find her in #MadeinHeaven & BBB on Prime.
#PaatalLok (on @PrimeVideoIN) showcased the incredible ability of Abhishek Banerjee ( @nowitsabhi). He brought a rare humanity to the violent Tyagi. He& #39;s also been the co-casting director behind discovering many talents!

Find him in Mirzapur on Prime &
Humorously Yours on Liv.
#PaatalLok helped me discover Ishwak Singh ( @ishwaksingh) who brought such a sincerity to the young and impressionable Imran Ansari. I& #39;m really excited to see more of him on screen now!

Find him on Malaal on Netflix &
Veere Di Wedding on Zee5.
Ever since her hard-hitting debut in #Titli, I& #39;ve really loved Shivani Raghuvanshi in most things she& #39;s been in. She was powerful even in the short role as Vasudha in the recent #RaatAkeliHai (on @NetflixIndia). Look forward to more!

Find her in #MadeinHeaven & #Titli on Prime.
In #RaatAkeliHai (on @NetflixIndia), I also really loved @shreedhardubey, I& #39;m so glad @HoneyTrehan gave him such a great role because he made his & #39;awakening& #39; as Nandu so believable and held his own with Nawaaz. I& #39;m keen on seeing more of his work!

Watch him in Rangbaaz on Zee5.
#Panchayat (on @PrimeVideoIN) was one of my favourite shows this year and I found Faisal Malik ( @malikfeb) outrageously funny in it, as the Deputy Pradhan. I& #39;ve been fortunate to know Faisal bhai, & he& #39;s just as fantastic a person too.

Watch him in #GangsofWasseypur on Netflix.
Riya Sukla ( @realisticriya) also made quite an impression on me as Chunni in #RaatAkeliHai (on @NetflixIndia), even in a short role. After IMDB-ing her, I remembered finding her fantastic in #NilBatteySannata when she as a child actor.

Watch her in #NilBatteySannata on Zee5.
Taking a break, will keep adding more names. There are so, so, so many fantastic actors who should really be talked about more - or all the time! Let& #39;s celebrate the people we like instead of choosing to spend our time in pulling downs the ones we don& #39;t :)
PS - Feel free to add to this thread the actors you admire and would like to celebrate!
