SPLIT. FUCKING. SHIFTS! Split shifts need to be abolished immediately. Sending staff on a break to save pennies is bullshit, and staff still have to work early mornings and late nights SMH

Off the back of split shifts... Shifts over 12 hours are also unnecessary (for salaried staff). Surely thereâs more sensible shift patterns if we had enough staff.
Contracts for senior chefs that state a 45 hour working week, when your wage budget could never allow you to be in any less than 80
KPs need to be paid more. It may not be super skilled work, but they graft tirelessly, often with substandard equipment.
Treating commis and apprentices like a dogs body. Weâre in 2020! Show them some love, kitchens are boisterous, scary places to be. None of this âbreak them down and build them as a better person` BS. Itâs a kitchen brigade, not the military.
