avoid this kind of situation she shouldn& #39;t have tried to sing a song with the n word in the first place, but judging from this video, she did try to censor it in the first bit, but in the second-
bit, looks like she messed up and instead of censoring the n word she censored "so" (????). I don& #39;t think she did it on purpose, talking from a non english speaker perspective, I myself stumble over my words when I read outloud, specially in front of people, and I end up-
inventing new words and looking stupid af.
What I& #39;m trying to say is that she was live in front of lots of people, speaking in english (which is not her first language), she tried to censor it but she ended up censoring the wrong word and you can see her shocked eyes after that-

Again, I know this is not my bussiness and that the n word said by a non black individual is extremely offesive and obviously there is people offended. But I truly think she did not meant to be disrespectful, she knew it was wrong and apologized (it& #39;s not my place to accept it)-
She shouldn& #39;t have sung the song in the first place and should be held accountable for that and for not being careful when trying to cesor it, but it saddens me that people were offended and are just cancelling her, because she seems like a nice person and meant no harm...
Idols (and people in general) should know better about this topic at this point but they keep messing up and should start being educated in that matter asap, because it& #39;s not that hard to not say a word that literally offends and disrespects people.. I& #39;m not trying to defend her,
like I said she should be held accountable for this and I& #39;m sure she learnt her lesson. She will not do it again, but if she does, then that& #39;s when she should be cancelled, because she now clearly knows how bad it is to say the n word.
Again I am not defending this kind of behaviour and it& #39;s frustrating that it keeps happening, but in this case, I think she did try to censor it and failed terribly...
