I did not expect this tweet to blow up like this and it& #39;s disheartening but not surprising that so many people resonated with it.

Reading all of your childhood (and current) experiences w/ similar micro-agressions has been sobering in a way that& #39;s not uncommon..

Micro-agressions are not "micro" at all. They& #39;re manifestations of racist culture fed comments, stereotypes, and observed treatment of Black people by friends, family, teachers, the media, and the system.
