I was the Chief of Staff of a Party that once housed Bull Connor. And I CEO& #39;d two national Party nominating conventions ... an institution that once refused to seat Fannie Lou Hamer.
And I have lived to see my Party nominate a Black woman as Vice President. This is #HERSTORY
