already noticing changes to msq. primarily reduction in the # of open world enemies needed to kill to complete a quest
oh man this is amazing so far... if the removed quests are the ones i think they are im confident ill be able to swing a 12h arr run at some point
stopping at level 17 coz i still need to do roulettes on vio and im fading fast

- "the butcher of greentear" (killing 8 hogs) has been removed
- # of anoles to kill has been reduced from 6 to 3, # of eggs needed to collect has been reduced from 3 to 1

- from airship landing, go to drowning wench
- aftcastle -> marauders guild -> cul guild
- go down the ramp
- aetheryte -> hawkers alley -> arcanists guild
- tp back to aetherye, run south to attune to fish guild
- done!

the addition of aetherial jewelry to low level dungeons + guaranteed piece of gear at the end is SUCH an amazing addition, leveling jewelry is not always readily available + accessible. people scalp the shit out of it on marketboards
quick tip in case anyone doesnt know: when a quest requires you to use a key item, you dont have to open the inventory interface to select it. you can just click the itty bitty icon next to the quest name
no change in the 15-20 quests
the quest after choosing your GC now includes a short cutscene prompting you to speak to an NPC to get your chocobo, as it is now required to complete msq.
- level 20 "we come in peace" quest no longer requires you to kill 3 swarms of hornets

in lv21 quest "forest friend" , the # of ziz and gall gnat kills have been reduced from 6 to 1, and the # of brownie bushes you need to collect has been reduced from 5 to 3 (i think)!! one of the brownie bush locations has been moved too! that saves an ENORMOUS amount of time
this is actually kind of weird because i& #39;ve run ARR so many times a lot of this is like... muscle memory and i keep having to stop myself from going to kill extra mobs.. so far my predictions have been correct and im excited to see the other changes
# of coeurl pup kills in "microbrewing" has been reduced from 5 to 3 and you no longer have to retrieve an item
in "nouveu riche" , laurentius& #39;s location has been moved, and the # of times you& #39;re required to speak to him has been reduced from 6 to 3.
