The wife and what the right hand possess are always mentioned together in the Qur& #39;an, this is to show they are in the same position, they get the same rights.
It is never mentioned in a separate verse.

The Ulama said the only difference is one came in as a prisoner of war.

Imam Shafi& #39;i mentioned that if a man was to force himself onto a concubine(what the right hand possesses), she would be taken away from him and he will be charged with the punishment of zina.
So, if that is the punishment for a concubine, surely its the same for your wife!!

If the prophet (pbuh) forbade a master from hitting the person that was under him, if a slap meant expiation of the slave. Then what then of rape?

It& #39;s common sense. I thought it was common sense.

The prophet warned a man and women of withholding themselves from their spouse as a means of punishing them.

If that person doesn& #39;t fulfill their right upon you, that doesn& #39;t give you the right to take it forcefully. That means that person is sinful.
