My FPL 2019/20: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.
Part 1: & #39;The Bad& #39;
For this first thread I& #39;m looking at my consistent mistakes and general problems this season, and how I can improve.
I& #39;m sure these issues are familiar so I hope this helps some managers out there.

Part 1: & #39;The Bad& #39;
For this first thread I& #39;m looking at my consistent mistakes and general problems this season, and how I can improve.
I& #39;m sure these issues are familiar so I hope this helps some managers out there.
1) Forgetting the Deadline
Seems obvious but over the season I missed at least 4 or 5 deadlines (and lost who knows how many points) due to forgetfulness or poor time management. If like me you& #39;ve got a memory like a sieve it& #39;s worth setting a reminder.

2) Transferring Out Premiums
Seeing that KDB wasn& #39;t returning despite playing ok, I transferred him out only to miss out on a 19 point haul.
A general point I& #39;ve found is that you& #39;ll likely miss out on good scores if you get rid of highly owned players with any kind of form.

3) Poor Captaincy Choices
This is a big issue for most of us FPL managers but runs of wrong choices at the start of the season and on the restart definitely hurt my rank.
I& #39;ll probably do a separate analysis of my captains this season sometime soon.

4) Knee Jerk Reactions
In GW 10 I got in Jiminez and when he blanked I got rid in GW 11. He then went on a run of only 1 blank in 9.
Taking the time to analyse whether certain players are over or underperforming before making a decision would have saved me points and transfers.

5) Beware the One Week Wonders
Following on from the previous point, I made the mistake by being wowed by over-performing players (eg: Nketiah, Saka, Traore, Sidibe) and getting them in only for them to provide inconsistent returns and consecutive blanks. Better to avoid.

That& #39;s all folks for Part 1, more to come very soon. Thanks for reading!
