This is may annoy a few people, but if you booked a holiday away this summer you must have known you were doing so at a risk.

There is a global pandemic on and restrictions have been on and off for months.

If you took the risk, it& #39;s not on someone else to bail you out.
Just because you were able to book it doesn& #39;t mean it was risk free, the insurance companies might cover the your holiday costs, but everything else is on you.
My insurance company sent me a letter telling me as much back in March.. Saying that they can& #39;t guarantee cover for holidays booked after the foreign office changed their advice on the 6th March.. Which I thought was fair enough.
Now there is an argument that the government encouraged it, but you& #39;ll have to be pretty ignorant of the situation (and missed the three months where it was illegal to leave your house) to not understand the risk.
