One thing lead to a next, we’re buying them drinks, numbers get exchanged, it’s a good vibe. I made sure she got home safely, we talked for a bit until she slept
The next week my homeboy told me he wanted to take the friend out, so I should invite the girl I met. He had to say less, I was down
I’m texting her the day before we go out, telling her I can’t wait to see her smile, she telling me she can’t wait to see my dimples. So clearly that’s telling me there was SOME kinda attraction
For the “date”. She showed up 1 hour late, but you know, women. so I didn’t hold that against her. We got some take out food and headed to my favorite bar.
On the way to the bar surprisingly the conversation got very sexual, but I’m still playing it cool. Making mental notes of the things she’s saying so I would know her likes and dislikes.
The four of us sat by the bar, were chopping it up, then slowly the group conversations ended and we just focused on the person we came with.
By this time we’re about the 2nd drink in, and I realize homegirl’s phone is blowing up. I didn’t mind because I was texting people as well. 10 minutes pass by and she got a call from the same guy she’s texting and I heard her say “you’re outside? I’m coming”
I’m grown, so I didn’t let that get to me, maybe it’s a friend who was in the area and just wanted to say hi

Still, I’m saying to myself, well maybe she gotta give them something from her car, or collect something. She’s not my girl, it’s our first “date” so I don’t need to overreact.
So she’s outside for 5... 10...15...20...22 minutes, then she sends me a text “sorry about that, I’ll be a few minutes” ... 15 mins later I responded “well, i don’t know what’s worst, being stood up, or the person showing up just to leave u” (yes I was hurt)
Even her friend started saying that she’s disrespectful.... I said fuck that, walked around the bar, saw some friends I knew and just had my drinks with them. About 30-40 mins later she came back all smiles. And she walks in with my neighbor boyfriend
Eventually I join them again, stopped addressing her directly and just spoke whenever we were having a group conversation. During one of these she said she was just gone for 5-10 mins. That’s when I definitely knew she was fucking
They left to go to the ladies room, and my homeboy tells me she came back with a wet spot behind her dress, and he’s sure that it was cum. Sooo I told him yo let’s roll out cuz I’m done
See, good friends are something rare to come by, cuz he saw the shit that happened and told me “hey, after what happened tonight u not gonna spend any money, I’m gonna cover the tab”
We made sure they got to the car and we left them.
