TW vent//suicide

You know. It just kinda sucks seeing my family care so much about my brother. Why didn& #39;t you try and help before he tried to commit suicide? Does it really take someone having to reach that point for ppl to actually give a heck?

In the past, when I made posts about how bad I was feeling/depressed, no one batted an eye. But when I actually *wanted* to cause harm to myself and said so, I get so many replies. What& #39;s the difference? One caring person can change so much but they often come too late.

No one is *obligated* to make me feel better. Or my brother. It& #39;s just nice to know that there is SOMEONE that does care. It can be as simple as someone asking about my day. That makes me the freaking happiest person!

Moral of this thread is, show that you CARE when someone is in a dark place. It doesn& #39;t have to be all about their problems. It can be a lighthearted conversation. I can& #39;t speak for every suicidal person cuz feelings can be different.
Just care okay?
