I& #39;ve apparently devoted my career to C. elegans and give them about a B. B+ on a good day.
I mean you can& #39;t go to SfN with a worm poster year after year, routinely getting stuck in "YYY: Robots, invertebrates, and history of neuroscience" on the last day and maintain some kind of sense of scientific superiority unless your delusional.

Sometimes when I am telling someone I study worms, I& #39;ll say they are "surprisingly charismatic." But it& #39;s not true. They are exactly as charismatic as you& #39;d expect.
What I really like is the C. elegans community. We could all switch to something else without IRB paperwork and I& #39;d be fine.
