2. This intersection is in desperate need of an upgrade. It& #39;s a travesty that it& #39;s remained as-is for so long. So this is certainly positive news.

But .. is a roundabout the right choice in this case? There is a lot of truck traffic and most of it is running E-W

3. Keeping that E-W traffic flowing with a fly-over would seem to be the best option to me. Yes the one at hwys 2&3 works well but there are fewer trucks, the flow of traffic is more balanced, and traffic is more relaxed.

4. The province recently announced an interchange at St.Mary& #39;s Rd and the Perimeter Hwy. Why not here? Just $$s? I would like to see the studies that lead to the decisions of both. -30-
