I did some self reflection and found the following tweet I send out last month.

I said: "I’m lucky if I gain 10 new followers within a day https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😅" title="Lächelndes Gesicht mit offenem Mund und Angstschweiß" aria-label="Emoji: Lächelndes Gesicht mit offenem Mund und Angstschweiß"> (bots included https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤖" title="Robotergesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Robotergesicht">)."

But now I gain 4x times that amount per day on average as you can see in the photo. So how did that happen? https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🧵" title="Thread" aria-label="Emoji: Thread">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🧵" title="Thread" aria-label="Emoji: Thread">

1. Try to actively engage with others. I used to lurk around and only press "like" on other tweets. Not much happens from that.

If you want to get noticed by other (popular) twitter users, try to add value to the conversation in the form of a reply and sharing your knowledge.
2. The majority of the people on the internet are consumers and don& #39;t produce any value. Take this chance to deliver your experience and values, there is always someone out there that can learn from it.
3. If you provide enough value, people will start to share your content and spread it even further, causing a "snowball effect".

Be proactive and help others. These people will also help you in return!
4. Time your tweets when your audience is online and mostly active. A typical tweet might be relevant for 30min before it& #39;s drowned in millions of other tweets. So pick a time when you think most users are online...
5. Try out (similar) tweets on different times of the day to see which get& #39;s the most engagements and work from there.

Remember that you need to actively test it out for yourself, nobody can tell you what really works because they have a different audience.
6. Be consistent and don& #39;t give up too easily. In the beginning it& #39;s hard work, but as you start growing the audience will do the hard work for you and spread your message even further.
Looking back at last month, the results don& #39;t lie. Remember that this doesn& #39;t happen overnight. Spend your effort to help others and the results will follow.
