It& #39;s been weeks since there was a positive #Covid_19 case in #Adelaide, but I& #39;m still wearing a mask in public. Why? Because of days like today. 1/5
Today I watched a person who was coughing and had lost their voice be passed through a security/health checkpoint because "she just has laryngitis" and "talks a lot". 2/5
Minutes later, at a separate location, a person was waved through after saying: "Yeah, I have flu symptoms but it& #39;s okay, I don& #39;t have coronavirus." No further evidence required, apparently. 3/5
Call me paranoid if you like, but that kind of complacency worries me. And seeing as I can& #39;t change it, all I can do is take precautions on my end. Thus, masked I remain. 4/5
