I may not always be the loudest or the most articulate in a room, and I more often than not feel like I don’t belong in discussions, but I’ve spent every single day of the last 4 years building out a global media company and I deserve to be there.
@WeAreTheTempest exists for every girl/woman/femme/person — who like me— have felt like they don’t belong, who have felt out of place.

The Tempest exists to remind us that we do, and that we matter. That our voices matter.
It’s been one of the toughest journeys. I’m a startups person through and through and yet I tremble with caution when encouraging anyone to pick running a startup over a safer bet with a Corp job. Unless you have a safety net/cushion don’t.
I don’t know how long I’m in this world for, life is unexpected and uncertain.

But for as long as I am here— I will continue to do what I do, and I will continue to speak up, and to use what power I have to amplify other voices.
Media is one facet of this, there are many others. But that’s a convo for another time.
