A comment (below) on the rendering of the "tiny hands" in this Luckovich cartoon. From where I sit, it& #39;s legitimate political caricature / satire. Take a look at the cartoon. https://twitter.com/mluckovichajc/status/1283154004898390017">https://twitter.com/mluckovic...
Some people are born with small hands. Or no hands. Or with any of a myriad of "non-typical" physical attributes. This class of people includes my son Jake, a "multiply-handicapped" person & proud graduate of @perkinsvision. 2/n
Through Jakob & Perkins I& #39;ve met dozens of people who are not neurotypical, vision-typical, physiologically-typical, & so forth. I& #39;ve learned a lot from them, I hope. But I myself am a cisgendered white male TAB (& #39;temporarily able-bodied), so of course I may be blinkered. 3/n
It seems to me that Luckovich & other who call attention to what may be Tr**p& #39;s smaller-than-typical hands are emphasizing are not Tr**p& #39;s hands, but his insecurity, his habitual lying, his hypocritical propensity to mock people who are not physiologically typical. 4/n

As a person of a categorically privileged class — healthy able-bodied white guy in America — which I did not choose but don& #39;t pretend to renounce (how is that even possible?) . . .4/n
— I welcome comments from people of other communities & backgrounds & experiences about the depiction of Tr**p& #39;s small hands in political cartoon like the one at the top of this thread. Similarly his obesity, etc. In my mind people are mocking Tr**ps moral failings, not. . . 5/n
