I absolutely HATE when a movie/tv plot hinges on a conflict that only exists because a character or characters are not saying something that they could very easily say.
"Batman, Lex Luthor is holding my mom hostage. He sent me here to kill you. But if you help me save her, we can hash this out later!"
"Listen, Tony, I just found out my friend Bucky killed your parents while he was still a brainwashed, mind controlled assasin for hydra. I know you& #39;ll need time to process that and will probably have some anger towards Bucky but at least I& #39;m telling you right away, right?"
