But I have a lot to learn when it comes to price and salary negotiation.
Anytime someone asks me for my rates as an editor,
I unconsciously put a low price so I won& #39;t be seen as "too expensive".

How do you fix your rates and assert your value?

Like I know I& #39;m a good editor and past work can testify to that.
Been editing unpaid for close to three years.

Now I decided to be professional, I lack confidence in negotiating.

How do you build confidence when fixing your price?

The problem is I get flustered and there& #39;s a tiny voice telling me that I shouldn& #39;t set too high otherwise I won& #39;t get the job or the contract.
