Today& #39;s update on COVID in MS. Once again leading with the chart from MSDH showing illness onset and actual day of death. Remember that the case numbers and deaths you see reported each day are not all from the day before, just when they were reported.

MSDH is reporting 674 new cases of COVID. This brings our 7 day average from 709.57 to 712.57 based on reporting date.

MSDH is reporting 30 new deaths with COVID. This brings our 7 day average from 10.71 to 13.86 based on reporting death. While we have seen 74 deaths reported the last two days, the actual number is 24 based on the first chart I posted.

MSDH has not updated hospitalizations, ICU patients, or ventilator patients at the time of this thread. MSDH has also not reported testing numbers the last two days now.

MSDH did report 50 new hospital admits (just not current hospitalizations). This brings our 7 day rolling average to 27.00. Here is the chart of the 7 day rolling average.
