can& #39;t believe this needs to be reiterated again. judaism and zionism are not the same thing. nor should they be. you can be jewish and not be a zionist. you can be a zionist and not be jewish.

also you don& #39;t have to be a zionist to believe israel has a right to exist. it does exist. suggesting it should disappear or be obliterated is genocidal.

when i was but a wee babe at brandeis i signed up for a course called zionism and its critics thinking i would be learning how to fight the anti-zionists and their wrong ideas. turned out i just read a lot of jewish zionist thinkers who had bones to pick with zionism.

zionism does not mean one thing. if you& #39;ve studied zionism in-depth you should know by now there are plentiful theories, beliefs, and policies attached to a variety of zionist movements. i just don& #39;t really identify with any of them.
