This thread is a convo my drunk roommate told to me at 3am this morning.

I’ve always been taught, you don’t argue with someone not in their right state of mind (that being said, I observed his behavior and listened without offering my opinion on his commentary)also you don’t argue about religion or politics.

He began by speaking about his thoughts on school rn. He then quickly turned to politics. Things like “BLM are the real racists. They keep doing stuff to ruin the country”
“I agree the cops that killed George Floyd deserve to be in jail but blm dnt have to ruin everything.”

He then began to speak about abortion and his pro life views. “I understand abortion if the mother is at risk of dying but you should never kill a baby” “if you kill a baby you deserve to rot in jail”

“I want a family. I’d drop out of school for a family”

By this time I was walking closer and closer to my bedroom door and he made the comment about Native Americans (for those that don’t know, I’m a member of the lost tribe on my dad side) and when he said this I had to hear his thoughts.

This man says, “ and those fucking Indians. Bro I don’t care they should all die. Like I’m sorry to say but they want to take down the Mt. Rushmore. why?? Because that’s our forefathers. It’s not our fault that y’all were unprepared.

Those Indians smoked weed all day and it made them not prepared. That’s their fault. And believe me, I don’t hate anyone.” Then switched to Mexicans “those Mexicans don’t deserve to be here either. I mean only the illegal ones deserve ICE.”

He stated that trump did more good than bad for this country and Obama ruined the country more than he helped it. And basically praised trump.

Then stated that he isn’t racist and doesn’t believe all trump supporters are white supremacists.

He ended his commentary with stating he is talkin to an African American girl now and she is nice. Then said if he could marry anyone it would be an Asian. Then told me he loved me. I then shook my head in disappointment and then walked in to my room

Though I didn’t verbally say anything during the 30 min speech he gave, the whole time I looked at him in disgust.

When I woke up this morning he stopped me and apologized for anything that he might have said that was offensive. I let him know he has the right to his opinion but also let him know... we arent cool and fuck him. Soo that was the story of my racist roommate.
